LeadsUp LLC FZ ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application YardNest (the "App").
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Summary. The App uses your device camera to show plants and surfaces in augmented reality. The camera feed, the depth and surface data used for AR tracking, and every design you create stay on your device. They are never uploaded to us, and we never send them to anyone else. Our servers are used for one thing only: to deliver the catalog of 3D plant models and surface textures to your device.
The App does not perform face detection, face recognition, facial analysis, or any other form of biometric identification, and does not use the front-facing or TrueDepth camera for face tracking. No face data, faceprint, face template, or other biometric identifier is collected, generated, stored, or transmitted.
1. Information We Collect
1.1. Camera and AR Data (processed on your device only)
To place plants and draw surfaces in augmented reality, the App requires access to your device camera and to your device's AR framework (ARKit on iOS / ARCore on Android). Using these, the App:
- displays a live camera view on your screen;
- detects flat surfaces such as floors, lawns, patios, and walls, and tracks the position of your device relative to them;
- on devices equipped with a LiDAR or depth sensor, uses depth measurements to place objects more accurately and to occlude them behind real-world objects.
All of this happens locally, in real time, on your device. Camera frames, depth measurements, plane and surface geometry, and spatial mapping data are held in device memory only for as long as an AR session is running and are discarded when the session ends. They are not recorded, not written to permanent storage, not uploaded to our servers, and not shared with anyone. We never receive a scan, map, or model of your home, garden, or any other space.
1.2. Your Designs and Screenshots
Any project you create — the plants you place, the surfaces you draw, and their positions — is saved only on your device, inside the App. If you take a screenshot or save a photo or video of your AR view, that image is stored in your device's photo library or inside the App. We do not receive a copy of any of it.
1.3. Data Processed by Our Servers
Our servers host the plant catalog: 3D models, textures, images, and descriptive information such as plant names and care details. When your device downloads catalog content, our server receives standard technical request information, including your IP address, device type, operating system version, App version, and which catalog items were requested. This is used to deliver the content and to protect the service against abuse.
We do not upload your camera feed, AR data, designs, screenshots, or photo library to our servers, and there is no account, login, or profile.
1.4. Customer Support Data
If you contact us via email, we collect your email address and the content of your message.
2. What We Do Not Collect
For clarity, the App does not collect:
- face data or any biometric identifier;
- scans, maps, point clouds, or 3D reconstructions of your surroundings;
- your photo library (the App does not read your photos; it only writes images you choose to save);
- your name, phone number, postal address, or date of birth;
- precise or approximate location data (GPS);
- contacts, calendar, microphone audio, or health data;
- advertising identifiers (IDFA) or cross-app tracking data.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To Provide the Service: delivering the plant catalog, 3D models, and surface textures to your device.
- To Improve the App: understanding which catalog items are requested and diagnosing errors, so we can fix bugs and optimize performance.
- Security: detecting and preventing abuse of our servers, such as automated scraping of our 3D assets.
- Support: responding to your messages.
- Legal Compliance: enforcing our Terms of Service and complying with applicable laws.
4. Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. The App contains no advertising networks, no data brokers, no third-party analytics or attribution SDKs, and no AI processing services. Nothing from your camera or your designs is ever transmitted to anyone.
The only parties involved in operating the App are:
- Our hosting provider, which stores and delivers the catalog on our behalf and acts strictly under our instructions as a data processor. It does not receive camera, AR, or design data, because that data never leaves your device.
- Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play), solely for distributing the App and, if you make a purchase, for processing and validating it. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request.
5. Data Retention
- Camera and AR data: not retained. It exists only in device memory during an active AR session and is discarded immediately afterwards. We retain it for zero days, because we never receive it.
- Your designs and saved images: kept on your device for as long as you want them. You can delete any project or image at any time, and uninstalling the App removes everything stored inside it.
- Server request logs: retained for a limited period necessary for delivery, troubleshooting, and security — no longer than 48 days — and then deleted or anonymized.
- Support correspondence: retained for as long as necessary to resolve your request and to keep a record of it.
6. Security of Your Data
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect information. Traffic between the App and our servers is transmitted via encrypted protocols (HTTPS/TLS). Because your camera data and designs never leave your device, they are protected by your device's own security — we recommend keeping your operating system up to date and using a device passcode.
No electronic transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Choices and Control
- Camera permission. The AR features cannot work without it, but you can revoke camera access at any time in your device settings; the catalog remains browsable without AR.
- Delete your projects inside the App at any time.
- Delete saved images from your device's photo library at any time.
- Uninstall the App. This removes the App and all of its locally stored data from your device.
Because we do not store your camera data, AR data, or designs on our servers, there is no server-side copy for us to delete. If you have any question about this, or wish to make a request regarding your data, contact us at [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
8. User Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
8.1. GDPR (European Economic Area)
If you are in the EEA, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, and to object to processing. Our legal basis for delivering the catalog is performance of a contract with you; for security and abuse prevention, our legitimate interests.
We do not process biometric data within the meaning of Article 9 of the GDPR, and we do not carry out profiling or automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

8.2. CCPA / CPRA (California Residents)
- Right to Know: you may request details about the categories of personal information we collect.
- Right to Delete: you may request the deletion of your personal information.
- Non-Discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
- "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information": we do not sell or share your personal information for monetary compensation or for cross-context behavioral advertising. The App does not use advertising identifiers and has no advertising or measurement partners.

9. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions where 16 is the minimum age of digital consent, such as parts of the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it immediately.
10. International Data Transfers
Our servers may be located outside your state, province, or country, where data protection laws may differ (e.g., servers in the USA or Europe). This affects only catalog delivery and the associated request logs described in Section 1.3, since no camera, AR, or design data is transmitted anywhere. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
